The clock is ticking.

Well, it has happened - I have reached the point of BIG STRESS. Not just from the course, although this is an extremely full week for assignments. One of my main stressors is not yet having found a place to live. I have only one more weekend in which to secure somewhere and it has NOT been going well so far. I have posted announcements and answered ads but have had precious few responses - not counting the scams and one person who wrote a diatribe against Americans and said to go home! As for school, we had a midpoint exam yesterday, started a "one-to one" project which will culminate in a private lessson this Saturday, and a teaching session to prepare for each day with 2 on Friday. I keep telling myself, one thing at a time, but the housing situation is permeating my thoughts. That makes focusing on the rest more difficult.
I have actually done quite well so far and I do love the teaching part -- just am not crazy about the lesson planning. I'm not unique in that - it tends to be most people's least favorite part, and most time consuming part. It's early in the morning here and it is time to get going. Even if I am a bit stressed, I am still LOVING being here!
